From empty workspace to a published agent
A concrete walkthrough of the actual product flow — no fluff, no fabricated features. If you get stuck, every section below maps directly to a page in the product.
Overview
Aicentic lets you train an AI agent on your own business content and put it in front of your visitors. Everything below happens inside the product — there's no separate setup tool, config file, or engineering hand-off required to get an agent live.
1. Create a workspace
Your first workspace is created automatically when you sign up — just give it your business name. A workspace groups a set of agents, their credits, and their team, so most accounts only ever need the one. If you run multiple brands or regions, you can create additional workspaces later and switch between them, up to the limit of your plan.
2. Create your first agent
From the Agents page, create an agent and pick the type that matches what it's for:
- Sales —qualifies visitors and moves them toward a conversation with your team.
- Customer Support —answers product and account questions from your published content.
- Knowledge Assistant —a general-purpose Q&A agent over whatever you feed it.
- Custom —start from a blank prompt and shape the behavior yourself.
You can change the AI model and prompt for an agent any time from its settings.
3. Add knowledge base sources
Give your agent something to actually know. Add websites, files, topics, or Q&A pairs from the Knowledge Base page — every answer your agent gives stays grounded in what you've added here rather than in a generic model response.
4. Add actions
Actions let your agent do more than answer questions. Connect an external API from the Actions page so your agent can, for example, check an order status or book a meeting in the middle of a conversation.
5. Test in the simulator
Before anyone else talks to your agent, you should. Every agent has a built-in simulator — chat with it directly, see how it uses your knowledge base and actions, and adjust the prompt or content until it responds the way you want.
6. Publish and embed the widget
Once you're happy with it in the simulator, publish the agent. From its Channels page you'll get a script tag you can drop into any page you control to bring the agent to your visitors.
7. Invite your team
Bring in teammates from the Team page so more than one person can manage agents, review conversations, and follow up on captured leads.
8. Manage billing and plan
The Billing page shows your current plan and usage, and lets you upgrade or downgrade at any time. Every plan includes the full agent builder — plans differ in workspace, agent, and credit limits.
